Going in to this weekend I was really looking forward to something different, I have never driven anything else besides a Skip Barber car. So I was really looking forward to a new experience and a whole set of challenges. Lucas Oil Racing School was host there first ever race weekend being a new company, we travelled to PBIR which was the first I have ever been there as well.

The first day we had two practice sessions, in both sessions I was P2 by a tenth, later that night I talked it over how the day went with my dad to try out the next day. The second day was a perfect day, in practice I was P1 by a full second, I then qualified on pole for the inaugural Lucas Oil Racing School race. In the first race I had a great battle with Jackson Sharp, we battled hard wheel to wheel two wide changing positions every lap. Mid way through the race Jackson made a mistake which gave me about a 10 second lead and from there I focused up and finished strong grabbing the first ever Lucas Oil Racing School win.

In the final day the cars were having over heating problems so instead of a qualifying session and a 40 minute race they decided to do two 20 minute races and start based on last race results. I then would be starting on pole and. At the start I pulled out a 10 second lead and held it there for the rest of the race finishing 1st again. In the 3rd race I started on pole again and once again was able to grab about an 8 second lead and hold that till the end going 3 for 3 on wins this weekend. Was truly a great experience and can’t thank all my supports enough along with USwag and Invisible glass. Also thank you to Lucas Oil Racing School for putting on such a great event for their first race weekend.
